First thing I have to say is always remember to take a before picture, so that you don’t have to resort to searching through 5 years worth of pictures, zooming and cropping!

Well we had this old fireplace, came with the house. Have always been OK with it being here. But can’t say I ever actually “liked it”….

It eventually made it’s way into our bedroom after the sunroom was renovated. Thinking one day I would paint it, or burn it.

It finally made it through to the other side and got a freshening up.

A can of $3 oops paint, some Plaster of Paris, and some clear and some brown min wax. And a little scuff up from sandpaper.

I think it can hang around here for a few more years, I found some new love in my heart for it.
