I’ve taken an old desk and dresser to create a three piece makeup vanity for lots of storage.

There is a unique “divide” to this vanity. Take a look at the bottom trim of the two towers on both sides.

Sanded it down and done this to make the towers…….

And left the trim on the bottom as it is as it still adds character and flows from one side of the desk to the other. I used an old solid wood table top to create the side I cut and built some drawers to fit.

Sanded the desk part and tried them all together.

After wood filling, sanding, painting, and laquering, I added a mirror that used to be black with glass tile decals on it and painted it white to bring the whole thing together!
