So, we’re  not always the best at remembering to take before pictures immediately, we have a tendency to be excited about something and dive in and then halfway through realize.

This time Jason had to search the net to try to find something close to what we started with. A brass ceiling fixture, with a huge glass shade. We still don’t have a plan for the glass shade yet.

This one looks similar to the one we started with.

We started by taking the lamp apart and removing the attention seeking shade. Giving the lamp a few coats of Krylon off-white paint.

We need modified a shade from another lamp as the crowning jewels for our new piece.

This fixture will be used in a 100 year old house with a remodeled bathroom on the main floor. 

The new owner of the lamp squealed a little when she saw it. So it seems like we hit the nail on the head with this one!!
